For more than 15 years, we’ve delivered energy-efficient LED technology while continuously improving our environmental and quality standards. In addition to our ISO 9001 (quality) and ISO 14001 (environment) certifications, we have taken a further step: aligning our operations with the principles of the Common Good Economy (ECG).

  • Long-term commitment to energy-saving LED innovation
  • Certified quality and environmental standards
  • Officially recognized as a Common Good-certified company

What Is the Common Good Economy (ECG)?

The Economy for the Common Good is a values-based economic model that redefines success. Rather than focusing solely on profit, ECG prioritizes human dignity, ecological responsibility, social justice, and transparency. It offers a practical framework for businesses that want to operate ethically and sustainably.

  • Alternative model to traditional capitalism with systemic solutions
  • Rooted in values like fairness, environmental stewardship, and solidarity
  • Designed to address global issues such as inequality and climate change

Why It Matters to LEDTEC

We believe that companies have a responsibility beyond business transactions. As environmental and social challenges grow, we aim to lead by example through ethical practices and transparent reporting. That’s why we’ve adopted the Common Good Balance Sheet as our sustainability reporting standard.

  • Common Good principles now integrated into our business strategy
  • Clear accountability for our social and environmental impacts
  • Continuous improvement across internal practices and external relationships

Measuring the Common Good: The ECG Matrix

To evaluate progress, the ECG has developed a standardized tool—the Common Good Matrix. It assesses a company’s impact on five stakeholder groups (e.g., customers, suppliers, employees) across 20 ethical topics such as human dignity, environmental sustainability, and social justice.

  • Matrix topics include diversity, equal opportunity, and ecological impact
  • Example: “Human Dignity in the Workplace” reviews fairness and safety
  • Example: “Reducing Environmental Impacts” evaluates how we mitigate harm

What Our Report Covers

In our ECG assessment, we’ve reflected on how our operations align with these values. The report examines everything from supplier relations to climate impact—and documents the actions we’ve taken to improve. It’s a transparent look at who we are and where we’re headed.

  • Insights into our workplace culture and employee health initiatives
  • Evaluation of supply chain ethics and local sourcing practices
  • Detailed overview of our environmental strategies and energy usage

Sustainability as Standard Practice

For us, sustainability is not a department—it’s part of every decision. Whether we’re sourcing materials, designing products, or choosing packaging, we consider the impact at every step. By aligning with the Economy for the Common Good, we’re reinforcing our long-term responsibility to people and planet alike.

  • Ethical business model embedded across departments
  • Tools and frameworks guiding future development
  • Transparent and values-driven approach to innovation
