REACH and RoHS Compliance Declarations

Reach Declaration

LEDtec GmbH is a downstream user in the supply chain within the meaning of REACH. We do not manufacture or import any substances or preparations affected by REACH. Therefore, we are not subject to registration requirements and are not required to prepare safety data sheets.

LEDtec GmbH is aware of its responsibility within the supply chain and complies with all guidelines required by REACH.

According to information from our suppliers, the materials we use do not contain any substances from the current candidate list (SVHC list) in a concentration of more than 0.1% by mass.

In the interest of high product safety, we are monitoring the implementation of the REACH Regulation with our suppliers and have requested that they notify us immediately, in accordance with the notification obligation under Article 33 of the REACH Regulation, if the product currently or in the future contains substances classified as very high concern by ECHA according to the Candidate List in a concentration above 0.1% by mass. As soon as we receive relevant information from the manufacturer in this regard, we will pass it on to you immediately and without request.

Rohs Declaration

Harmful substances according to EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS Regulation)    

According to the above EU directive, it is no longer permitted to place on the market electrical and electronic equipment containing lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (Cr6+), polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) or polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE).

The aim of this directive is to prevent environmental and health impacts from the outset and to prevent disposal problems from arising in the first place.

LEDtec GmbH welcomes these regulations in the interests of future-oriented and sustainable industrial production.

We hereby confirm that the products we supply and will supply comply with the requirements of Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS Regulation).
